Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica today participated in the round table on the presentation of the feasibility study findings for the creation of employment fund in Kosovo, presented in cooperation with UNDP.
An introductory word, Minister Reçica said that in Kosovo there is a need to create a sustainable employment fund in order to contribute to reducing unemployment, providing employment opportunities for young people, social category beneficiaries who can are involved in the labor market.
“This fund contributes to achieving our objective, so that every family in Kosovo has at least one employee,” said the minister.
The findings presented at the conference are a good start for further work that recommendations and proposals for the establishment of the employment fund are sent for approval.
The importance of this fund consists in the weight and attention given by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and its commitment to employment, vocational training and better social welfare of Kosovo’s citizens.
Minister Reçica finally emphasized that cooperation with international organizations, in this case with UNDP, will further deepen in order to achieve common goals.
