Social Assistance Division

1. Tasks and responsibilities of Social Assistance Division:

1.1. Proposes, develops and ensures the implementation of social assistance policy/strategy papers;

1.2. Collects, analyses and reports on the poverty data in Kosovo, in cooperation with other relevant institutions;

1.3. Proposes, develops and ensures implementation of social assistance legislation;

1.4. Coordinates activities with other relevant institutions;

1.5. Monitors the process of payments from social assistance scheme, and develops regular periodic reports;

1.6. Cooperates with non-government organizations on developing activities;

1.7. Maintains the electronic data system for those applying for, and beneficiaries of social assistance;

2. Head of Social Assistance Division reports to the Head of Social and Family Policies Department.

3. Number of Social Assistance Division staff is eleven (11).
