Social Planning and Inclusion Division

1. Tasks and duties of the Social Planning and Inclusion Division include:

1.1. Coordinates activities in the budgetary planning process for social services and social inclusion;

1.2. Ensures that social welfare policies are presented based on the data on poverty in Kosovo and that budgetary policies on increasing social welfare are compatible with budgetary possibilities;

1.3. Proposes, develops and ensures implementation of policy/strategy papers on enhancing social inclusion services;

1.4. Reports on the impact of social payments;

1.5. Coordinates activities with Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) and Ministry of Finance (MoF) on analyzing price fluctuations of consumption basket for determining the amount of benefits;

1.6. Provides support in the budgetary planning process for social inclusion in Municipalities;

1.7. Identifies needs for funding from EU and other donors’ funds which provide support for the development of social policy and social inclusion sector;

1.8. Manages the process of social and family service providers’ registration.

2. Head of Social Planning and Inclusion Division reports to the Head of Social and Family Policy Department.

3. Number of Social Planning and Inclusion Division staff is ten (10).
