Employment Policy Division

1. Tasks and responsibilities of the Employment Policy Division are:

1.1. Proposes, develops and ensures implementation of policies/strategies in the field of labour and employment;

1.2. Proposes, develops and ensures implementation of legislation in the field of vocational training;

1.3. Proposes initiation and negotiation of regional, bilateral and international multilateral agreements in the field of employment;

1.4. Proposes, develops and monitors the implementation of active labour market measures.

1.5. Ensures realization of employment promotion programmes and projects;

1.6. Cooperates with relevant stakeholders in developing and implementation of active labour market-related projects.

1.7. Develops periodic reports and analysis in the area of passive and active employment policies;

2. Head of Employment Policy Division reports to the Head of Department of Labour and Employment;

3. Number of Employment Policy Division staff is five (5).
