Monitoring and Control Division

1. Tasks and responsibilities of the Monitoring and Control Division:

1.1. Monitoring and control of implementation of legitimacy of pension and benefits scheme users;

1.2. Investigation of irregularities and illegal acts in applying pension and benefits schemes;

1.3. Identification and correction of irregularities and possible errors concerning the pension and benefits schemes procedures;

1.4. Cooperation with institutions which can provide information, such as central and local agencies and institutions and religious institutions;

1.5. Cooperation with all commercial banks concerning changing bank accounts upon users’ requests;

1.6. Maintenance and updating of database upon requests from users and local officials;

1.7. Identification and writing of requests for the return of illegally acquired funds or wealth;

1.8. Cooperation with Pension Offices on establishing a sustainable monitoring system for identification of possible errors in payments;

1.9. Assists in monitoring and reporting of Department’s objectives implementation;

1.10. Monitoring and control of decision-making legitimacy on beneficiaries by local officials;

1.11 Manages the monitoring and control team and staff

2. Head of Monitoring and Control Division reports to the Head of Department for Martyrs’ Families and War Invalids;

3. Number of Monitoring and Vocntrol Division staff is three (3).
