Today, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and the Program for Migration and Development (GIZ) have confirmed their support for programs related to migration for work and have shown that they are ready to accept more activities in the future. During the opening of the workshop, Minister Abrashi has emphasized the good cooperation between MLSW and GIZ in this field and the importance of the information related to migration for work for the citizens of Kosova.
Minister Abrashi has repeated once again that the employment of youth still remains the priority of all. Minister Abrashi also emphasized that the Government of Kosova strongly supports the circular migration, considering the successful model of Germany which began on January of this year, where a considerable number of young people already working there on a temporary basis.
It also discussed about the special importance of diaspora investments in the Republic of Kosova, where Minister Abrashi added that the Government of Kosova and MLSW remain committed to assisting the diaspora as a powerful link in the economic development of the country.
