At the invitation of the European Union, specifically the Policy Forum for decentralization of social services, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare Ms. Rita Hajzeraj – Beqaj participates in the International Conference “Impact of decentralization in social services, challenges, social policies and the protection of children” held in Vienna, Austria.
This conference with the participation of experts in more than 8 countries from the Balkans aims to provide a platform for advocacy, policy development and innovation through the ability to learn and to exchange good practices on the process of decentralization of social services in the region, such as: responsibilities, decision making, financing etc.
From the Kosovar delegation, in this conference is attended also the Mayor of Municipality of Ferizaj Mr. Muharram Sfarqa, head of the Department for Social Policy Mr. Muhamet Gjoxaj and Terre Des Hommes representative Mr. Kushtrim Islami.
