Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Arban Abrashi, in cooperation with the Rotary Club, made today the inauguration of renovated works in the premises of the Pensioners League of Kosova, those premises where our pensioners spend the most time.
The project, which cost around 20 thousand euros, from pensioners was rated as an importance project to them, because they spend a long time there. From today they will enjoy better conditions, including now, the most suitable daily room to spend time there and enough pace for work and activities.
Minister Abrashi considering this project as a project of goodwill, during the inauguration thanked stakeholders who have helped in the realization of these works and has encouraged them to draft and develop as many other similar projects in favor of pensioners.
‘’Today, we are unveiling a noble work that has come as a joint project of goodwill which dramatically improves conditions and daily operational environment of pensioners and on this occasion to thank all stakeholders who helped in this project and encourage them to and find other projects and require our cooperation, which will not be missing in the realization of the best works for pensioners, “added Mr. Abrashi.
Pensioners who benefited from this project have welcomed this initiative and considered very successful, since it was necessary to regulate the areas where they operate and stay.
Meanwhile the President of the Rotary Club Mrs. Agnes Vuthaj, thanked the Minister Abrashi for the cooperation that have and said that this cooperation with MLSW will continue further, seeing other opportunities where they can cooperate on the issues that are primary.
At the end as a sign of the acknowledgment for all those who contributed to the realization of this project it was provided a certificate of the acknowledgment by the Pensioners League of Kosova.
