First meeting is held of the National Council for Safety and Health at Work

Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mrs. Rita Hajzeraj-Beqaj, today called a consultative and informative meeting, the National Council for Safety and Health at Work.

 

The chairman of the NCSHW, Deputy Minister of MLSW, Mrs. Rita Hajzeraj-Beqaj in the meeting informed the participants with the mandate and the importance of this Council, for the safety and health of workers.
All members of the National Council, welcomed the decision of the Prime Minister and the beginning of the functioning of the council, who vowed to engage maximum that this organism to act in full accordance with the legal provisions of the country. It was also discussed that as the new Council which is starting work for the first time in Republic of  Kosova, it would be better to consult and take into account the experiences of countries in the region.

 

The composition of the National Council for Safety and Health at Work, is as follows: Rita Hajzeraj-Beqaj, D.M / MLSW; Izet Sadiku, D.M /of  Health; Basri Ibrahimi, Chief Inspector of Labour, MLSW; Besim Mustafa, KCC; Sulejman Klinaku, AKB; Hysen Hyseni, Trade Union of Kosova; Adem Llumnica, Trade Unions of Kosova; Xhevat Plana, Occupational Medicine specialist; Izet Shehu, expert in the field of health and safety at work (KEK); Minir Curri, an expert in the field of health and safety at work (Hani i Elezit Factory-Lime) and an ad hoc expert accordingly.
At this meeting it was decided that the governing bodies of the Council  elected in  the next meeting, which will be convened with  the approval of the minister of MLSW, Arban Abrashi Economic and Social Council.
