Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, participated in the business forum on the topic “Lack of qualified workforce, challenge for businesses”, organized by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the German organization GIZ.
In this forum Minister Mr. Reçica presented the employment challenges in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the challenge of youth employment, lack of qualified workforce and labor market research.
Minister Mr. Reçica, among other things, presented the measures undertaken by the Government of Kosovo, to meet the requirements of the labor market with qualified employees, according to business needs. He stressed that there will be closer cooperation with all relevant local actors, Kosovo institutions, businesses and international partners, to challenge the unemployment challenge and create conditions to bring the workforce closer to the demands of labor market.
