During his stay in the state of Iowa in the USA, Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Skender Reçica held meetings with institutional representatives, governmental agencies and various organizations dealing with economic development, social welfare, work affairs and health.
The Minister held a meeting with representatives of the Iowa Government Agency, which deals with the development of the workforce, who exchanged ideas about building cooperation in terms of employment growth.
Reçica was also hosted by representatives of the Iowa Veterans Affairs Department, who briefed them on the obligations and commitment of the Kosova Government for veterans and their rights.
The Minister held separate meetings in the ‘’United Way’’ organization, make together co-sponsored donors, businesses, governmental and expert representatives, as well as at the DMACC College, with whom Republic of Kosova has already initiated the implementation of some programs for vocational education.
At the meeting, the minister was also welcomed by representatives of the Iowa Chamber of Commerce of Des Moines, who informed the minister about efforts to help create jobs through innovation, strategic planning and global cooperation. At this point, they jointly agreed to deepen cooperation on concrete issues and projects.
