Mr. Recica and the World Bank discuss support for poor families in Kosovo and MLSW reforms

The Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, in order to implement the reforms of the department he leads, today held a virtual meeting with the director of the World Bank for Kosovo, Mr. Massimiliano Paolucci and the rest of the WB team, where they discussed the reforms undertaken by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, with special emphasis on Pension Reform and the continuation of the Social Assistance Reform.

In today’s meeting, Minister Mr. Reçica together with the World Bank team also discussed the process of starting the implementation of the WB project, worth 10 million euros, which aims to support poor families in Kosovo.

The Minister of MLSW, Mr. Skender Reçica thanked the Director of the WB for Kosovo, for the great support that the World Bank has given to our country over the years and now that it is continuing to give its contribution, as a function of economic recovery after the spread of the pandemic, as well as in support of the reform process he has undertaken, as Minister of Labor and Social Welfare.
