Employment and living in Germany

With the current amendment of the labor law in Germany will be regulated (changed) the access to the German labor market since 2016 year. From the date 01/01/2016 to 12/31/2020 the citizens of Kosovo have the opportunity to obtain a residence permit in Germany for all professions of work, professional education and other auxiliary work. This applies even when you do not have a specific professional education, or if your professional qualification is not recognized in Germany.

Previously you must have the following conditions:

• You must have guarantee for a job offer by an employer in the German state from the date 1/1/2016 or later date.

• Must have other conditions for the legal requirements for taking a visa.

Further, the Federal Employment Agency will verify whether any candidate is available favored (German citizen or a citizen of the EU) to offer job. In such a case if there is a German citizen or a citizen of the EU you will not receive a work permit for the German labor market.
