The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and the German organization, Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the implementation of the project “Socio-economic Stability of Ethnic Minorities and Majority Communities” program in the Republic of Kosova. The project will be implemented by NGO, ‘Preda Plus’ in the Repulic of Kosova.
The Memorandum was signed by MLSW Minister Skender Reçica, head of the ASB office in Kosova, Dafina Hoxha and the director of the office of ‘Preda Plus’ in Kosova, Fatos Raifi.
This is a three year project that focuses on small businesses and agribusiness, with the aim of staff training in these two areas, where at least 250 people will benefit. The project will also have the micro-business start-up project component, which will benefit 60 beneficiaries and will extend to 11 municipalities in the Republic of Kosova. Selection of eligible candidates will be made by the Employment Offices, which are within the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
On the occasion of signing this memorandum, Minister Reçica said that he will cooperate with all the local and international organizations that aim for the employment and professional training of the citizens of the Republic of Kosova
