Today, Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, hosted representatives of Amnesty International with their center in London, headed by Sian Jones.
A topic of discussion in this meeting was the report on victims of sexual violence, issued by Amnesty International, respectively by investigators of the region of Balkans, a raport which will be published in Prishtina tomorrow.
Minister Reçica notified the participants of this meeting regarding the decision of the Government of Kosovo regarding the compensation with monthly pensions and the plans of the Ministry to engage this category in active masures of the labor market, such as trainings, wage subsidies or even self-employment.
Representatives of Amnesty International congratulated the Minister on his work regarding this vulnerable issue and also for the plans of engaging them in active masures of the labor market.
Minister Reçica thanked the representatives of Amnesty International for their work regarding the report concluded by their investigators, and he also pledged that recommendations from this report will be analysed and considered by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
