Minister Mr. Reçica in Singapore holds meetings with senior state representatives

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, is staying on an official visit to the Republic of Singapore, where he is holding meetings with senior state representatives.
Minister Mr. Reçica met today with the Minister of State for Employment and National Development of Singapore, Mr. Zaqy Mohamad, whom he thanked on behalf of the Government of Kosovo for the support that the Republic of Singapore has consistently provided to the Republic of Kosovo in various fields within the framework of bilateral relations.
Mr. Reçica informed Minister Mr. Mohamad about the challenges of Kosovo is facing with regard to unemployment. He stressed that the policies of the Government, namely the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, are the career orientation of young people in line with labor market needs as well as the education and vocational training of young people.
Mr. Mohamad said that Singapore could support Kosovo through various training programs, which together with the minister agreed that in the near future to concretize the co-operation.
During the day, Mr. Reçica also met with Minister of Social and Family Development Desmond Lee, who was informed about the social situation and the problems faced by the citizens of Kosovo. The Minister also informed his counterpart on the reforms that the MLSW has undertaken in these two areas and stressed that it is very necessary for both countries to build bridges of cooperation in the social and family domain.
