In the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Singapore, Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Mr. Skender Reçica was received in a meeting at the Ministry of Education of Singapore by Ms. Lian Hui and senior ministry representatives.
During the meeting, the Minister was briefed in detail on the system of vocational education and training in the Republic of Singapore, the support and programs offered by the ministry, especially in youth training and their empowerment in order to start career planning, from the stages of early schooling.
Minister Mr. Reçica expressed impressed with the genuine system of education and vocational training of this country and said that Kosovo will try to benefit from the best practices from Singapore.
Mr. Reçica also held a meeting with the Singapore Employment Agency, where they were informed about the programs and methods they apply for the vocational training and retraining of young people, the advancement of communication between employers and employees and their better liaison, as well as support jobseekers to new jobs and career orientation.
