Prishtina, 11 March 2015 – Through fiscal facilities provided with the program of the Government of the Republic of Kosoba, will help kosovar companies to expand investment and create new work places, so said Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Arban Abrashi who was accompanied by the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosova Arian Zeka visited the “Buka’’ factory which functions within the Meridian Corporation company.
Minister Abrashi said that the Government of the Republic of Kosova has the intention that through fiscal facilities and creation of the employment fund and investment to support Kosovar enterprises that have the potential to create working place and increase local production. Minister Abrashi said that the examples like ‘’Buka’’ factories that have expanded their activities in time of global financial instability shows that the Republic of Kosova provides a suitable environment for doing business.
Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Republic of Kosova Arian Zeka requested once again from the country’s institutions to urgently strengthen legislation that would allow tax facilities and other fiscal facilities, therefore enabling the strengthening of the private sector and attracting new investments.
