Minister Mr. Abrashi and Mayor of Municipality of Istog Mr. Rugova sign a Memorandum of Understanding and promise to improve a social delivery service in the Municipality of Istog
With the aim to improve social delivery service at the local level, the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Arban Abrashi and Mayor of Municipality of Istog, Mr. Haki Rugova signed today a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions. Through this agreement, henceforth the Municipality of Istog will exercise jurisdiction of services of institutional residential in Istog.
Minster Mr. Abrashi and Mr. Rugova also agreed that the process of support to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare is offering to the municipalities to intervene in improvement and renovation of social services in the Municipality of Istog, something that is expected to occur in 2016.
The Mayor Mr. Rugova thanked Minister Mr. Abrashi for this initiative reiterated the determination to do all that allows a legal framework and other measures of financial opportunities that citizens and groups in need in the Municipality of Istog to give a support.
