Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Arban Abrashi, was hosted today by the acting Mayor of the Skenderaj, Fadil Nura. They discussed for the action progress of the MLSW and for the distribution of packages of clothing for families on social assistance, where the beneficiaries of this modest aid are 120 families from the municipality of Skenderaj.
Minister Abrashi and Mr. Nura, talked about the good cooperation between central and local government. Minister Abrashi is expressed that the aid of the MLSW will not missing and it will be enriched with other projects in the future, where the number one priority of the Ministry remains the employment. “In these days of cold winter we have meant that these modest benefits in clothing will facilitate somehow needs of families on social assistance, and in the future will think about projects more creatively to reduce as much poverty in Skenderaj”, has spoken the Minister Abrashi.
The acting mayor of Skenderaj, Mr Fadil Nura, thanked Minister Abrashi for this action, by appealing the Minister that according to the possibilities the MLSW attention focus more, taking into consideration the grave situation and poverty highlighted in Skenderaj.
By the end of this action will benefit over 3,000 families on social assistance throughout the Republic of Kosova.
