Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Mr. Safet Kamberi, accompanied by the director of the Department of Pension in MLSW. Mr. Bahri Xhaferi, have waited today in a work meeting the director of the Fund of Pension and Disability Insurance Mr. Jovo Pajović with collaborators, where the focus was cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro regarding the certification of insurance periods for exercising the right to pension for citizens of both countries.
Deputy / Minister Mr. Kamberi thanked the participants for their commitment, that during the meeting on this issue expressed the readiness to cooperate with experts from Montenegro to understood as a matter of particular importance to the issue of these pensions which, according to him permanently regulates the recognition and confirmation of apprenticeship for Kosovo citizens who have worked in Montenegro and vice versa.
“This issue in continuance will advance even further and I believe that we will have the interest of the Government of Montenegro and the Pension Fund there, because we actually have started from scratch given that we have not inherited anything from the fund of the former Yugoslavia therefore good practice from Montenegro but also the countries of the region will be welcomed” said among others the Deputy / Minister Mr. Kamberi.
And by the representatives of Montenegro was confirmed once again the support we will give this matter further and pledged that the cooperation between experts of both countries will start immediately in order to sooner we realize the right to use the pension, which will have a positive impact on institutional care and welfare of the citizens of both countries.
