Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Qazim Rahman, met today with Ambassador William Walker, who is visiting the Republic of Kosova.
Deputy Minister Rahmani thanked Ambassador Walker for his great contribution that has gave for the freedom and independence of Kosova. He also informed Ambasador Walker for the situation of national minorities and MLSW projects, including those that will be implemented in the future, which will focus on improving the welfare of minorities.
Deputy Minister Rrahman stressed that the position of minorities in Republic of Kosova is quite advanced and for that the state of Republic of Kosova is guarantee for that, its Constitution and laws, which are fully in harmony with the most advanced laws of the democratic world and the EU.
Ambassador Walker, was satisfied with the information and advanced state of the communities in the Republic Kosova. He thanked Deputy Minsiter Rahman for the reception, encouraging to work much more for the rights of minorities in the Republic of Kosova. On this occasion, Ambassador Walker offered him close cooperation as a friend of Kosova, expressing the desire for Republic of Kosova to be a developed country and equal opportunities for all, in the realization of their rights.
