Reçica: Increasing employability requires legal reform and modernization of employment services

Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica participated in the World Bank conference, “How to Work together to Enhance Employment Opportunities for Young People in Republic of Kosova”.

At this conference, the minister spoke about the commitment of MLSW to increase the level of employability in the country, especially the employability of young people. He stressed that the youth employment plan has foreseen specific objectives for youth employment, focusing on vocational education and training for vulnerable youth, women and vulnerable groups.

“To increase employability in the country, some prerequisites should be created, both legal and technical reforms, so MLSW during this period has implemented a series of legal reforms and modernization of service delivery,” said Reçica.

Finally, Minister Reçica together with World Bank Director for Kosovo, Marco Mantovaneli distributed several awards for students and young people who participated in the World Bank race for their ideas and hopes on transition from studies to the world of employment.
