Mr. Recica convenes the Social Economic Council, discusses the collective agreement and the minimum wage

Under the leadership of the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, today was held the next meeting of the Social Economic Council.
The meeting was attended by SEC members from employers, employees and government representatives, in which it was reported about the minimum wage in the country and the draft agreement on the collective agreement.
The Professional Commission for drafting the collective agreement reported on the drafting of this agreement, its content and articles which are intended to advance the rights of workers with this draft agreement, and reported on drafting the proposal for the minimum wage in the country, both of these issues are important to our employees.
Considering the situation with the Covid 19 pandemic and the unknowns that await us, Minister Mr. Reçica stressed that we as the Economic and Social Council should also consider this situation and find the best solutions, which could be afforded by the budget of Kosovo.
After long and constructive discussions by the participants, we as SEC will decide when and how these two initiatives will be proposed for approval by the government, said the Minister of MLSW, Mr. Skender Reçica.
