Minister Mr. Reçica in support of jobseekers for opening new businesses

In order to provide ongoing support to jobseekers in Kosovo, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW), in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kosovo, has announced open the second phase of the Self-Employment Program 2020, for repatriated jobseekers in Kosovo.

In this regard, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, said that the program will support repatriated jobseekers in opening their businesses of various profiles, businesses that are able to survive the competitive market of work. He also said that this increased support comes at this time of confrontation with the COVID-19 pandemic, so that jobseekers in Kosovo feel even more the hand of care from the state.

Also, Minister Mr. Recica emphasized that in the First Phase of the Self-Employment Program this year, 136 repatriated jobseekers have been supported who have already opened their businesses and started working.
