Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr.Skender Reçica visited the Pensioners’ Association of the Republic of Kosova, where he met with its chairman, Mr.Shaban Kajtazi and other representatives.
During the meeting, Minister Reçica was widely informed about the main concerns of pensioners, underlining the fact that a general reform in organizational and legal aspect would be a good start for a sustainable and advanced pension system.
“I am aware that your position is not of the most dignified but I promise you that I am close to the decisions and undertaking concrete steps regarding a detailed amendament and suplement of the Law on State Pension Schemes where we intend to reform the pension system in the organizational aspect and legal, so that in the future we will not have legal objections to laws, “said Minister Reçica.
Chairman Kajtazi on behalf of the pensioners thanked Minister Reçica for contributing to improving the conditions of pensioners and the realization of their rights.
