After the signing of the Collective Contract, New Co Feronikeli, was the first company that was visited by the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare , Mr . Nenad Rasic , Mayor of Drenas Mr. Nexhat Demaku , Chairman of KBA , Mr. Agim Shahin , Chairperson of BSPK Haxhi Arifi , with the aim of closely informing with existing legislation that regulates the issue of employment, occupational safety and working environment , and in general terms towards the implementation of the Collective Agreement .
On this occasion, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr . Nenad Rasic said that the signing of a collective agreement is a big and important day for everyone, meanwhile, stressed that the company New Co. Feronikeli is a good example for the works that is doing, for workers’ rights, so he said we should combine forces to create favorable conditions for all.
Therefore the General Manager of New Co. Ferronikel , Mr. Ioannis Moutafis , told the attendees that this visit is very encouraging for New Co. Feronike . Mr Moutafis emphasize that their advantage to being competitive are workers, and they are aware that should pay attention to conditions, health and safety at work.
All parties were very satisfied that New Co Feronikeli company had fulfilled conditions even before the signing of the Collective Agreement and did calls to all businesses to implement in practice this document and to fulfill the obligations of employers and employees . At the end the attendees had the opportunity to visit all sectors of New Co. Ferronikel , including clinic , dressing-room , canteen food , work in factory etc..
