The Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, received today in a meeting the Ambassador of Sweden in Kosovo, Mrs. Karin Hernmarck Ahliny, with whom she talked about the current situation in our country at this time of pandemic, as well as the agreement between the United Nations Office for Project Services – UNOPS and the Government of Sweden, for the important project, which is funded by this the latter, which aims to promote the improvement of working environments by strengthening occupational health and safety management.
This project is especially important for Kosovo, for the fact that it will help strengthen the social dialogue to create safe conditions for workers and facilitate communications between government, employers, and employees.
Minister Mr. Reçica thanked Ambassador Karin Hernmarck Ahliny for all the support that the Swedish government has given over the years to Kosovo and its citizens.
