Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Arban Abrashi met dozens of employers and beneficiaries of the wage subsidy program in the Pristina region. The meeting was thankful character and interlocutor with employers and candidates, programs and projects related to active labor market, as a contribution to reducing unemployment. The Minister also acknowledged the idea and present concrete proposals for concrete projects aimed at reducing unemployment.
Wage subsidy program as a measure of labor market aims to create employment opportunities for jobseekers by subsidizing employers who want to recruit them in the long term. During the application at national level have applied 317 enterprises with 750 job vacancies. They are mediated by over 200 delegates, while the rest of the vacancies will be filled with programs and projects in the framework of support through active measures.
During the following days the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, will launch other special programs targeting job seekers from the category of beneficiaries of social assistance.
