With the aim of enhancing cooperation and integration in the field of employment and vocational training between the two countries, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Mr. Arban Abrashi and Albanian counterpart, Mr. Erion Velijaj today discussed and agreed on modalities and steps to be taken in 2015.
In this meeting was discussed an importance of cooperation in the field of vocational training, particularly in municipalities that lie in the border area. We also discussed and it was agreed that the Kosovo side to engage in lifting the work permit for Albanian citizens, as a measure of reciprocity to it that the Albanian government has already done for the citizens of Kosovo.
The parties concluded three agreements on cooperation in the field of employment, vocational training and pensions, and pledged to work in other areas of mutual interest to continue in technical groups
