Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Mr. Arban Abrashi and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Mr. Memli Krasniqi today signed four memorandum of understanding, which will allow seasonal employment of 985 persons, who shall be selected from the list of job seekers in the Municipal Employment Offices, in some forest protection programs. The implementation of these agreements will be made by the Forestry Agency of Kosovo (PAK).
During the meeting between of the two ministers, Minister Mr. Abrashi assessed as very important this agreement, having said that besides the hundreds of families in this year will have better income, as those who will anzghohen in this project will receive even higher skills to work.
Meanwhile Minister Mr. Krasniqi said that this agreement is a support for many families in Kosovo and also a commitment to protecting and increasing forest area in Kosovo, as a national asset. He said that MAFRD is planning other measures for the creation of new jobs and to support families on social assistance, particularly in their support to deal with agriculture.
