Today in Podvorica, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Nenad Rasic, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, and his counterpart from the Government of Montenegro, Mr. Predrag Boskovic, have signed agreement of cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro to verify the insurance periods for exercising the right to a pension for citizens of both countries.
This agreement governs the recognition and confirmation of apprenticeship for Kosovo citizens who have worked in Montenegro and vice versa, until 31.12.1998.
Ministers Mr. Boskovic and Mr. Rasic expressed their willingness of mutual cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Montenegro cooperation which will positively impact on institutional care and welfare of the citizens of both countries.
This agreement is of great importance for all citizens of Kosovo who have worked up to this period in Montenegro and to the citizens of Montenegro who worked in Kosovo, to realize the right to use the pension.
