Today, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Arban Abrashi, visited the Employment Office in Mitrovica. On this occasion, Minister Abrashi has distributed the agreements for the beneficiary candidates in the project “Promotion of Youth Employment”, a project realized in cooperation between the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo within the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and GIZ.
Minister Abrashi stated that this project is of a great significance. Furthermore, giving opportunities and space for new generations to encourage youth employment and private sector development continually remains a priority to MLSW.
The project is divided into two schemes. The first scheme will create twelve-months employment contracts, with the possibility of co-financing for six months (to 50% of the basic gross salary), where beneficiaries are: members of minorities, persons with special needs , repatriated persons, and so forth.
