The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW) and the “Terre des hommes” Foundation in Kosovo today signed a cooperation agreement on improving the quality of vulnerable services for vulnerable groups, with special emphasis on children at risk.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of MLSW, Mr. Skender Reçica and Jezerca Tigani, head of Office for Kosovo.
Minister Mr. Reçica said that this agreement is of special importance as it aims at advancing the system regarding the protection of children, especially from forms of abuse and hard work.
“As MLSW we are working to have as few cases of child abuse as well as cases where the children are facing with serious labor. It is necessary to jointly contribute to the elimination of such phenomena, “the minister said.
The Foundation’s Director Mrs. Jezerca Tigani, meanwhile, emphasized that it is the coordination of actions, as is the case with the agreement signed today, which concretizes the proper system of child protection efforts.
