Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Arban Abrashi, attended in the inauguration of the regulation of the river in the village of Gadime e Ulet. This project is part of the program “Beautiful Kosovo II”, in cooperation with MLSW and the EU Office in Kosovo, and was implemented by IOM
Minister Mr. Abrashi thanked the Office of the EU and IOM, for this project, which is being funded by the IPA programs of the European Commission. “The projects that are being implemented under this program, in addition to have created better conditions for the environment and better infrastructure of public utilities, the realization of these projects are being create greater employment opportunities,” he said.
In this ceremony was also attended by the representative of the EU Office in Pristina, Mr. Libor Chlad. He congratulated the villagers for the project executed by promising that in the future be financed similar projects in the service of citizens.
On the occasion of the inauguration, welcomed the Mayor of Municipality of Lipljan, Mr. Imri Ahmeti. Mr. Ahmeti thanked the donors and implementers of the project, asked for this project to proceed further until its completion also in next year.
