Today Minister of MLSW, Mr. Arban Abrashi, has had a meeting with President of the Association of War Invalids of the KLA, Mr. Fadil Shurdhaj and secretary of the association, Mr. Enver Krasniqi. During the meeting it was discussed about the application process and the formation of the Medical Commission for determining the degree of disability.
Minister Mr. Abrashi assured the representatives of AWH for their cooperation throughout the process and informed them about the steps the ministry has taken in this regard. Also, minister Mr. Abrashi, told representatives of AWH that next week there will be consultations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Ministry of Finance on this issue.
President of AWH, Mr. Fadil Shurdhaj, thanked the minister for cooperation Abrashi and informed him that during the week of future governmental committee is expected to finalize the list of war invalids, which will be recognized as a war invalid. Finalizing the list is considered a key moment after which it will proceed with the establishment of the Medical Commission for determining the degree of disability and other procedures to initiate payments.
During the meeting also discussed other issues relating to the category of disabled war veterans and expressed mutual willingness to intensify cooperation.
