Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica accompanied by the deputy of Kosova Assembly, Haxhi Shala and together with the mayor of Malisheva, Mr. Ragip Begaj visited today the social housing facility in Malisheva. The facility is being built thanks to the cooperation of the MLSW with the Municipality of Malisheva, based on the agreement signed last year.
“We are here today to look closely at the works of the social housing facility we are building together with the Municipality of Malisheva, which is missing from the Municipality of Malisheva. Similar objects we have built and will continue to build in other Municipalities in Republic of Kosova. This marks one of our efforts to improve the social welfare of these most in need families, “emphasised Minister Reçica.
Further, Minister Reçica added that the efforts are oriented in that direction to extend the state of care to families living in the most difficult social situation and at the same time fulfil obligations and commitments to citizens.
“Thanks to the Municipality of Malisheva, Mayor Begaj, for the cooperation in this project and we will also engage in the next efforts aimed at improving the lives of the citizens,” said the Minister Reçica.
Mayor Begaj, thanked Minister Reçica for the work that the Ministry is doing in the service of the citizens.
“This facility will be a permanent solution for these citizens who will benefit. It is a great job that is being done and this all in order to help these families in more difficult conditions that will already have a shelter, “said Minister Reçica.
The project in question is expected to be completed by the end of this year, according to the contract and the dynamics of the works. Its construction was financed by 600,000 euros from the MLSW and 47,671 from the Municipality of Malisheva. It will have 4000 m2 with a total of 44 flats to be distributed to the neediest families.
