Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica has visited one of the high-rise construction sites in Pristina to closely monitor compliance with safety and health measures as preconditions for preventing injuries and deaths at the workplace.
Minister Mr. Reçica on this occasion met employers and workers with whom he talked about the importance of respecting the safety and health measures at work, respectively, of the legislation in this field.
Mr. Reçica stressed that workers in Kosovo deserve decent working conditions, in line with European standards and above all, safety and health in the workplace.
“The lives of our workers are worthwhile, and we must defend it. We will be uncompromising in the implementation of current legislation in the field of occupational safety and health, but also persistent in efforts to further its progress, “said Mr. Reçica.
