In the week of promoting vocational training, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, also visited the Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) in Prizren, Gjakova and Peja, where he met many new candidates, attending courses of training in these centers.
In Prizren, the Minister also met Natyra Muhameti which is certified and has completed tailoring and self-employment training, and has opened its private business.
Further, the minister visited the VTC in Gjakova and Peja, where he saw closely the work being done in these training centers. In Peja, the Minister met Blerim Zekaj, certified in the woodwork and opened his business, while in Peja, met Krenare Gorancin certified in the hairdressing profession which also opened its own business.
Of the certified, the Minister was informed about the benefits they have obtained from VTC trainings and the businesses they have opened, based on the knowledge gained in these centers.
“Today I visited Vocational Training Centers in Prizren, Gjakova and Peja. From the representatives of the centers and the candidates that are currently attending courses, I was informed about the trainings they are taking in the respective profiles and I met many young people who were certified in different profiles by these centers and have opened their businesses. This is another reason to invite as many citizens as possible to enroll at the Employment Offices and to visit the Vocational Training Centers, “said Minister Reçica.
The Minister added that vocational training, within the framework of active labor market measures, precedes employment and as such is part of the key priorities of MLSW.
In the week of promotion of vocational training, Minister Reçica previously visited VTC in Pristina, Mitrovica, Gjilan and Ferizaj.
