Minister of Labour and Social Welfare (MLSW), Skender Reçica, has held a meeting with IMF representatives headed by Stephanie Eble, with whom he discussed about the reforms undertaken by MLSW in various areas such as pension, social matters and employment.
The minister informed the IMF representatives regarding the pension reform undertaken by MLSW, where he stated that the focus will be laid on legal matter , taking into account the inequality in current laws.
“The goal is to have a pension system that will resist time. By the end of the year, we will have the concept paper on pension reforms, “said Minister Reçica.
The Minister also informed the participants about the reform of social schemes where he said that, in addition to other concrete efforts, MLSW is working on creating a comprehensive law for people with disabilities.
