Minister Reçica: One employee in each family

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, has continued to present the project for employing a member of each family who lives with social assistance, and who has no employees and at least one member able to work.
Today, the Minister was in Mitrovica and Vushtrri where he met with the benefiting families, with whom he talked about employment opportunities through their involvement in active labor market measures.
“Being unpleased with what has been offered to you throughout the years, as a Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, with the full support of the Government of Kosovo, I am strongly committed to increase the wellbeing of your families through the provision of employment, “said Minister Reçica.
The Minister said that this project is already concretized successfully in all the municipalities of the country.
“I invite all family members who are not professionally prepared to visit Vocational Training Centers to be trained in various profiles provided there. I also urge all businesses in Mitrovica and Vushtrri to visit Employment Offices and Vocational Training Centers because they will find the workforce they need”, the minister added.
Meanwhile, for all those who are professionally prepared, the minister said that he would be committed to engage them in public work, by subsidizing wages or by other forms, as part of the active labor market measures.
“We will not stop our work until every family has an employee,” the minister said.
