Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, hosted today the Head of the EU Office in Kosova, Nataliya Apostolova with associates. EU Head Ms. Apostolova, congratulated Minister Reçica for the responsibilities he received by wishing him further success.
Minister Reçica thanked guests for their visit, as well as for the continued support that the Republic of Kosova has received from EU countries, given for the development and state-building of our state.
On this occasion, Minister Reçica briefed EU Head Nataliya Apostolova on the situation in the Republic of Kosova, with special emphasis on the Kosova Government program focusing on improving institutional capacities, expanding active labor market measures, improving social services and health, employment growth, with particular focus on young people and women, as well as social security agreements that facilitate citizens’ access to pensions.
Particular emphasis was debate on the European Agenda of the Republic of Kosova, the duties and obligations that arise for MLSW.
Minister Reçica expressed the readiness and commitment of MLSW towards the European Agenda and assures Mrs. Apostolova, that already the European Agenda is MLSW priority.
