Minister Arban Abrashi, hosted today in a meeting the vice president of the CDU from Longenburg Fȕlling Burghandt, FR of Germany, NRW Landi. This delegation with a group of German investors is staying in the Republic of Kosova to see the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries. The German delegation was accompanied by the Mayor of Podujeva, Agim Veliu.
Minister Abrashi German presented to the german delegation the priorities of the MPMS. He said that the number one priorities of the ministry remain youth employment and in this area he has emphasized that the Ministry of Labour is applying the best practices.
One of the best practices that have resulted successfully and in interest for jobseekers and businesses is subsidizing of the payment and self-employment of young people. Our research identified several sectors that can engage our young people, such as wood processing, metalworking, food products, textiles and information technology sector, “he said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Burghandt Fȕlling from Germany was pleased with the way of the management and the concrete steps taken by the Ministry of Labour. He said that along with the Mayor of Podujeva, z. Agim Veliu, are considering building a platform to identify the needs and possibilities of cooperation between the two countries. “We are studying the needs of the labor market, especially with medium businesses that need workers.
