Today, it is signed the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, respectively Minister Arban Abrashi , and the Program Coordinator of the German organization ‘Help’, Shqipe Breznica, within the project “Supporting the Socio-Economic Stability in the Western Balkans 2017-2018”.
This is the third year that this cooperation continues, where more than 750 micro businesses have benefited.
The aim of the project is to build capacities of vulnerable groups in the economic and social spheres in order to create opportunities for active participation in society, while the objective is to reduce the poverty rate among economically vulnerable groups.
Project components are the 240 grants for micro-businesses; Business trainings and vocational trainings, and support for entrepreneurial community initiatives throughout the country that will impact the creation of new jobs and contribute to socio-economic stability.
The partner municipalities during the implementation of the project in 2017 and 2018 are: Suhareka, Lipjan, Deçan, Štrpce, Istog, Gjakova, Gracanica, Mitrovica and Northern Mitrovica.
