Under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and the Municipality of Gjilan, today held a joint meeting with businesses in the region of Gjilan, which have cooperated with the Ministry in the creation of new jobs, for a significant number of workers.
In this meeting was present Minister Mr. Arban Abrashi and Deputy Minister Ms. Rita Hajzeraj, Mayor of Municipality of Gjilan Mr, Lutfi Haziri. On this occasion, Minister Mr, Abrashi, jointly stated that if the desired economic development and employment, then in Kosovo have a particular orientation and commitment to the private sector, which is key to economic development.
In this case it was found that, to promote economic development are much needed educational reforms in preparation of professional staff, motivating students to enroll in courses that are more open to future employment.
“With wage subsidies have achieved within the program for employment, today we have a small number of employees, but when we consider the huge needs for employment this figure should serve as hope for the future,” said Minister Mr, Abrashi. He stressed that very soon will start the next stage and with another program, the support of practical work in the private sector, which is a good opportunity for employment and the creation of better conditions.
Mayor of Municipality of Gjilan, Mr, Lutfi Haziri, linking it with day of meeting on Tuesday as day open of the meeting with the Mayor for Citizens, said that 90 percent of the cases that belong to the mayor, the only requirement is employment. Mr. Haziri stressed increased job can only be done through the sustainable development of private businesses.
