Deparment of Labour and Employment
1. Tasks and Responsibilities of the Department of Labour and Employment include:
1.1. Proposes, develops and ensures implementation of employment and vocational training policies/strategies
1.2. Proposes, develops and ensures implementation of the legislation in the field of employment and vocational training;
1.3. Cooperates with relevant stakeholders in developing activities;
1.4. Proposes initiation of regional, bilateral and multilateral agreements in the field of employment and vocational training;
1.5. Carries out labour market research and develops periodical reports accordingly;
1.6. Proposes annual quota for employment of foreign nationals in the Republic of Kosovo.
1.7. Monitors the work of employment and vocational training institutions.
2. Head of the Department of Labour and Employment reports to the General Secretary
3. DLE is composed of the following Divisions:
3.1. Employment Policy Division;
3.2. Vocational Training Division;
3.3. Employment Offices Coordination and Monitoring Division.
