Social Services Division

1. Tasks and responsibilities of Social Services Division include:

1.1. Ensures functioning of social and family services;

1.2. Proposes, develops and monitors the implementation of social services standards and procedures, according to EU standards;

1.3. Proposes, develops and ensures the implementation of social services legislation according to EU standards;

1.4. Coordinates activities with other relevant institutions;

1.5. Monitors the work of social services at Centres for Social Work;

1.6. Cooperates with non-government organizations in the area of social services;

1.7. Proposes and develops vocational training programmes for social services’ officials;

2. Head of Social Service Division reports to the Head of Social and Family Service Department.

3. Number of Social Service Division staff is ten (10).
