Today in the environment of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare was signed a Agreement of Cooperation between the MLSW and the German organization Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V.
The Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Arban Abrashi and Mr. Timo Stegelmann, Head of the Division of South-East Europe of the organization Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e. V, signed the Agreement of Cooperation for the implementation of the project “Support to socio-economic stability through strengthening of micro-business sector in Kosovo “.
The total project value for Phase I and II is 1,360,940.00 €:
The project will be implemented in the following municipalities: Pristine, Mitrovica, Ferizaj and Gracanica, Leposavic, northern Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Prizren and Gjilan.
430 micro-businesses will be helped with the equipment necessary for the conduct of their activities. The average value of a grant will be 2,000 EUR. At least 430 business and 160 vocational trainings will be organized for businesses supported.
The project will be implemented during the period May 2015 to December of 2016. This project is consistent with national and local strategies of the Republic of Kosovo, and will support the process of sustainable development as a whole.
