The Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, together with the Rector of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, Mr. Naser Sahiti, in order to provide greater opportunities for students even in this time of pandemic, today signed a Cooperation Agreement, and which enables the students of the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Social Work to realize the internship program during their studies, through engagement in the Centers for Social Work (CSW), as well as in the Residential Centers for the Elderly and the Residential Disabled Centers, operating in Kosovo municipalities.
This Agreement between MLSW and UP, provides for one year engagement in practice from 80 to 100 graduate students in the Department of Social Work and in some other areas that have adequate qualification in the provision of social services. Under this agreement, these students will have the opportunity to meet the criteria to be licensed as individual providers of social services by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
“As Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, I am committed to continue with programs like this in the future, in order to engage students, the unemployed and unskilled persons in active market measures, enabling internships “, professional training and grants, grants for small own businesses, etc.”, said Minister Reçica.
