Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare Ms. Rita Hajzeraj-Beqaj, took part in the High Level Conference on Repatriation, where they discussed the challenges and opportunities of inclusion of marginalized children and their families in systems integration.
Deputy Minister Hajzeraj-Beqaj said that MLSW provides support to all repatriated persons, who have no family care, who are elderly persons, persons with disabilities and children without parental care. Also in this meeting were discussed the layers of exclusion, general obstacles to social services, barriers to Roma, Ashkali and Egiptian and the specific difficulties for the repatriated children and their families.
At the end of the meeting Deputy Minister Hazeraj-Beqaj said that the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare have as a target to improve social services, and to focus on the generation of new working places.
